For the very first time, The International Music Conference in partnership with Meak Productions Inc., is introducing a special showcase performance, panel feedback and panel discussion on the topic of Out LGBT artists and musicians within the Pop, Dance, EDM, R&B and Hip Hop Communities.

Keeping It Real About Today’s “Out” Musician – Marriage equality has recently been upheld the “law of the land” in the United States and you can expect this panel to keep it real when it comes to evaluating the representation of LGBT artists in the music industry. Find out how certain views and attitudes about this particular community affect the LGBT artists’ ability to thrive. Plus, learn about precisely which tools, strategies and resources can help an “out” musician succeed.

Up and coming artists will get the opportunity to perform live in front of an esteemed gathering of music industry executives. The showcase is to demonstrate versatile talent with the hopes of further networking and the chance to get one step closer in securing that ever sought-after record deal. Artists will have the opportunity to submit demos and receive feedback from industry professionals.
