Comparing the industry to “the WWE” Dion believes there are “too many actors and not enough artists”. Whether in music or in life being unapologetic about his honesty and the reality that informs his being, Dion Primo speaks beyond the shadows that claim the direction of so many.Growing up in a non-musical family in Carson, California with three brothers and two sisters Dion Primo was positioned to be different. At the age of 14 Primo claimed his creative platform writing his own lyrics, recording on his tapedeck and using his headphones as a microphone rapping in a little ear piece. His undertakings were unbeknownst to his family, yet from a young age Dion Primo knew his truth, he knew his pathway and it was towards music of the written expression. “I wanna make it cool to be yourself again. Bram has always had the quintessential mash-up career. Part of the new music industry, IHM offers a music service once unavailable to the masses of artists who are still selling music in today’s market. Backed by PolyPlat Records, the label he co-owns, and powered by Blue Mountain Technologies, his software development company, IHM is helping independent artists establish and advance their careers by allowing them to report live venue sales to SoundScan, a service once only available to signed artists. The real magic here is that they are leveraging technology to make it available, affordable and easy for every one of the 300,000 plus independent artists currently touring and performing in the United States a way to leverage the only industry-accepted sales metric, SoundScan, and get on the Billboard Charts. IHM is proud to have serviced over 100 artists since it’s inception, with more than a dozen of them charting on SoundScan and Billboard with one even hitting number one on the coveted Heatseekers album charts.

Dion Primo-Sound KillersDION PRIMO (The Sound Killers)Rap Artist/Songwriter
Individually speaking yet invoking a universal truth, renowned up and coming rapper- songwriter Dion Primo of The Soundkillers is bringing both the creative and the original. In a music industry starving for artistry Dion Primo provides a voice for the voiceless, an alternative to the carbon copy as he acknowledges an ever declining space for individuality. No matter what and who you are” says Dion Primo, a man not afraid to color outside the lines whether in music or in life.
