SUBMISSION GUIDELINES AND DETAILS

You must be registered to attend the International Music Conference. You must be registered to submit your music. You will be asked to confirm your Registration by providing the last 4 digits of the credit/debit card information that you used to register.

R&B, HIP HOP, POP FEEDBACK & HIT SONGWRITERS PANEL:
IMC will be giving registrants a unique opportunity to receive honest feedback, critique and advice on their music with industry experts from the US and the UK.

  • Submissions should be no longer than 90 seconds in length.
  • Please only submit one track, any more than one will be automatically dismissed.
  • On the day of the conference you may be able to showcase more than one track at the request of the panelists, so please bring your music on a CD.
  • Successful candidates will be notified with instructions prior to the event.
  • Songwriters, please submit one track including first verse, chorus/ hook.
  • Producers, please submit one track instrumental only.
  • You will need to REGISTER first in order to take part in this event.
  • Once registered you will be eligible to submit your music for consideration. Our music editors will be diligently narrowing down all submissions.
  • After submission you will receive an email from our music editors confirming receipt of your email and further instructions.
  • IMPORTANT, you must REGISTER first before you submit your music otherwise your submission will automatically be dismissed.

DJ MIX-OFF:

  • Submit your mix at 20-30 minutes long and upload a link to your mix on the DJ Mix-Off URL contact form box on the Submissions Page.
  • The track must showcase excellent beat matching skills, a mix you would be proud to demonstrate at a party.
  • You can also direct us to your website or MySpace page in the comments box.
  • ALL genres are included.
  • DJs will be judged on Beat Matching, Hosting and the ability to Rock The Crowd.
  • DJs will need to register for the FEATURED EVENTS PASSto take part in this event.
  • Once registered you will be eligible to submit your music for consideration.
  • Our music editors will be diligently narrowing down all submissions.
  • After submission you will receive an email from our music editors confirming receipt of your email and further instructions.

PRODUCER SHOWCASE:

  • Submit two tracks, each may be up to 10 MB and should not be more than two minutes.
  • Tracks should be instrumentals or instrumentals with chorus “hooks” in Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B, Rock, Electronic, and Dance genres. No Full Songs Please!
  • The Track submitted must be an original work created by you.
  • Producers will need to register for the FEATURED EVENTS PASSto take part in this event.

ARTIST SHOWCASE:

  • Submit the track you want to perform live at the show via mp3/mp4 or you can direct us to your youtube page.
  • Genres accepted include: Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B, Rock, Country and Dance.
  • Groups of three or more members will need to register for the featured events pass twice.
  • The Track submitted must be an original work created by you.
  • Artists will need to register for the FEATURED EVENTS PASSto take part in this event.
  • Once registered you will be eligible to submit your music for consideration. Our music editors will be diligently narrowing down all submissions.
  • After submission you will receive an email from our music editors confirming receipt of your email and further instructions.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY…

  • You must register first in order to submit for any of the competitions or song feedback sessions
  • Submissions are online only
  • If your song is selected during the screening process, you will be notified in advance of IMC
  • Notification will be made by email or phone
  • Please no telephone calls
  • You are expected to be in attendance to discuss your submission, if selected. If you are not in attendance, your song may not be reviewed
  • The song you submitted must be an original work, either written or co-written by you
  • You must bring a copy of your music on CD on the day of conference
