Submission Guidelines

*You must be registered to submit your music.
You will be asked to confirm your Registration by providing the last 4 digits of the credit/debit card information that you used to register.
Please be sure to read the submission 
guidelines for the specific category for which you are submitting.

The IMC 4-REEL 48 HOUR FILM FESTIVAL

Think you have filmmaking chops? 4Reel’s 48 Hour Film Festival challenges filmmakers to join forces to create a complete film project in just two days. Yes, that’s 48 hours! Each team will be given a specific topic/storyline to shoot for a chance to win the grand prize estimated to be worth $6,000. Registration deadline is Sunday, September 6, 2015.

Registration is required to participate. Registration deadline is 11:59PM EST on Sunday, September 6, 2015.

All project submissions MUST be on the specified topic. The specified topic will be given via the IMC website on Monday, September 14 at 2PM EST.

All aspects of production (ie writing, producing, directing, filming, editing, etc) must be done between 2PM EST on Monday, September 14 and 3PM EST on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

Each project submission should be between 4-7 minutes in length.

Completed films must be submitted by the 3PM EST deadline on Wednesday, September 16 and submitted in person at the Sunseeker Media Offices between 4PM – 6PM. Failure to hand in your work during this time will result in your immediate disqualification.

MULTI-GENRE FEEDBACK & MUSIC SPEED DATING:

IMC will be giving registrants a unique opportunity to receive honest feedback, critique and advice on their music with industry experts from the US and the UK.

Submissions should be no longer than 90 seconds in length.
Please only submit one track, any more than one will be automatically dismissed.
IMPORTANT, you must REGISTER first before you submit your music.
Songwriters, please submit one track including first verse, chorus/ hook.
Producers, please submit one track instrumental only.

PLEASE NOTE:

After submission you will receive an email from our music editors confirming receipt of your email and further instructions.
Successful candidates will be notified with instructions prior to the event.
On the day of the conference you may be able to showcase more than one track at the request of the panelists, so please bring your music on a CD.
You will need to REGISTER first in order to take part in this event.
Once registered you will be eligible to submit your music for consideration. Our music editors will be diligently narrowing down all submissions.

DJ MIX-OFF:

DJs should send an email to submissions@theinternationalmusicconference.com for instructions on entry
The track must showcase excellent beat matching skills, a mix you would be proud to demonstrate at a party.
You can also direct us to your website or MySpace/Youtube/Soundcloud, etc page in the comments box.
ALL genres are included.
DJs will be judged on Beat Matching, Hosting and the ability to Rock The Crowd.
Our music editors will be diligently narrowing down all submissions.

Submit your mix at 20-30 minutes long and upload a link to your mix

PRODUCER SHOWCASE:

Submit two tracks, each may be up to 10 MB and should not be more than two minutes per track.
Tracks should be instrumentals only. No Full Songs Please!
The Track submitted must be an original work created by you.
Producers will need to register for the FEATURED EVENTS PASS to take part in this event.
Once registered you will be eligible to submit your music for consideration. Our music editors will be diligently narrowing down all submissions.

ARTIST SHOWCASE:

Submit the track you want to perform live at the show via mp3/mp4 or you can direct us to your youtube page.
Genres accepted include: Hip-Hop, Pop, R&B, Rock, Country and Dance.
Bands or group members will each need to register for a Featured Events Pass individually.
The Track submitted must be an original work created by you.
Artists will need to register for the FEATURED EVENTS PASS to take part in this event.
